Best Dog-Friendly Photography Locations in Pierce County

Once you decide on the aesthetic you want for your photography session, it is time to pick that matching location. Here are a few of my favorite areas around Pierce County.

Puyallup

  • Bradley Lake Park

    • Wide open grassy areas, Cherry Blossoms in the Spring, and a lake wrapped in a walking trail through wooded and open air areas.

  • Clark’s Creek Park

    • Offers great wooded areas, trails, and an off-leash dog area. Ideal for varied backgrounds and scenery options.

Bonney Lake

  • Allan Yorke Park

    • Across the street from Lake Tapps, this park offers walking trails, waterfront views, and mountain views on a clear day.

  • Victor Falls City Park

    • Look here if you like a more natural setting and waterfalls.

  • Tehaleh

    • There are numerous parks in this area that offer themselves to beautiful images. You can easily find a wooded trail, grassy area, or even a dog park.

Orting Area

  • Foothills Trail & Bridge

    • There are numerous places along this trail to get great views of the Carbon River and Mt. Rainier on a clear day.

These are just a few options to consider when looking for a photography session location. Our state is full of beautiful locations and we can always discuss more of an adventure session if your family has a more remote location with a special meaning in mind.
